Marton Care Awards 2026

On 26th February 2026, teams from across all of our homes came together for the Marton Care Home Awards, held at the Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham. The evening celebrated the dedication, compassion, and outstanding contributions of our staff, recognising the incredible care delivered every day within our homes and communities.

The awards highlighted individuals and teams who go above and beyond, sharing inspiring stories and celebrating the remarkable impact of care delivered with heart.

Celebrating Excellence Across Marton Care Homes

The awards for the evening were presented by Kirsty Crozier, Managing Director, with support from Executive Chairman Richard Hoggart and Chief Executive Officer Steven Davis.

In total, 13 awards were presented, shining a light on excellence in care, leadership, teamwork, and dedication across all of our Marton Care homes.

A Night of Celebration

To give the awards an interactive feel, Tobias Parry from the recruitment team took on the role of Quiz Master, hosting two quizzes, games, and a raffle for guests. Tables quickly became competitive during the quizzes, while the raffle proved to be a big hit with prizes kindly supplied by event sponsors.

The evening brought colleagues together from across the group to celebrate achievements, share stories, and recognise the dedication that makes Marton homes such special places to live and work.

Honouring Outstanding Individuals and Teams

With 13 different awards presented throughout the evening, one of the main highlights from the ceremony was the Care Home of the Year award, where Botham Hall were crowned this year’s winner in recognition of their exceptional standards of care.

The Care Home Manager of the Year award went to Angela Hutchinson, Manager at Grosvenor Park Care Home, celebrating her leadership and dedication to person-centred care.

For Inspirational Leader of the Year, the award was presented to Elita Klive, Care Home Manager at Dene Grange Care Home for her outstanding contribution and leadership within the home.
