In a night of elegance and appreciation, Marton Care Homes celebrated its exceptional leaders at the annual Care Awards held at the Marriott Hotel in Leeds on February 29th. Among the distinguished guests, Sarah Jones of Langley Park Care Home stood out, being awarded the prestigious Home Manager of the Year title.
The awards night, which began with a glamorous Champagne reception, saw attendees from various care homes within the Marton Care Homes network, all dressed in their finest and eager to celebrate their outstanding contributions to social care. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and recognition for the hard work and dedication of the care home staff.
Sarah Jones was lauded for her unwavering commitment to the residents and families of Langley Park Care Home. Described as the embodiment of care and passion, Sarah’s approach to leadership is marked by her willingness to immerse herself in any role necessary to support her staff and ensure the smooth operation of the home. Kirsty Crozier, Managing Director of Marton Care Homes, and Richard Hoggart, owner, presented the award. In her commendation, Kirsty remarked, “They work so hard and put their all into everything they do, always in the best interests of the residents and the families. Sarah is the most caring and passionate person you can come across, and this oozes out of her in abundance. She is not shy to jump into any role to make sure the staff are supported and maintain the smooth running of the home.”
The ceremony also recognised the exceptional efforts of finalists Chris Halonka of Botham Hall in Huddersfield and Anna Lees of Half Acre in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, who have each shown remarkable dedication and leadership in their respective homes.
